Warning Orders for Hoveton Hall 26th and 27th May – the last day being the Bank Holiday Monday

Being pretty much as previous years so if you want to try out a few new things this is the place. Mardling may well take place.

Arrive and set up for some of us to get the authentic camp up and running, will be on the Saturday. We will also have a sprinkling of the French 21eme turning up so make them welcome. Could we put the tents up opposite each other to make sure there’...

East Norfolk Militia at Waterloo

The highlight of the 2015 season had to be the events marking the 200 year anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.

The East Norfolk Militia did not attend the original battle, although members of the unit did serve as reinforcements for regular units.  This year, as then, the ENM were serving alongside the 44th (East Essex) Regiment of Foot.
