About Me

I am myself a Norfolk man and glory in being so. ( Funny I've heard someone else mention that before, now who was that?)  I ply my trade as a tanner at Worthing tannery, between North Elmham and Swanton morley in good King Georges' fair county of Norfolk.

I am Happily married to a wonderful lady, ( so she tells me )

In between merry drinking sessions at the Tanners arms and parlour games at the vicarage, my spare time is taken up with defending our shores against the dreaded French, with other stout hearted fellows that form the East Norfolk Militia.

  Your obedient servant,

              Martin Housego esq.

In the year of our lord 1805 ( Is that the time? tavern is open )
